Boat Zone’s journey started in 2018, when the channel’s founders began recording boat activity at Haulover Inlet as a hobby Starting from scratch, our audience grew significantly across all social media platforms, and the boating community in Miami began to identify with our content, making us popular. As our expertise and interests expanded, so did our geographical footprint; we ventured from our home base at Haulover Inlet to the vibrant waters of the Miami River, Boca Raton Inlet, Boynton Inlet, and, in time, to the dangerous Capbreton Inlet in France. This marked a significant milestone for us, as we became the only channel in the boat niche to film in Europe.
Our team has grown significantly since those early days. We now boast multiple camera operators, skilled editors, and FAA-licensed drone pilots, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise to our projects. This expansion has allowed us to diversify our content significantly. What started as the founders’ hobby has turned into a source of income for a team of more than 10 people, mostly based in the United States, with some in Europe.
In response to our growing audience and their diverse interests, we launched a second YouTube channel, "Boat Zone Miami." This venture focuses on capturing the unique boating scene and vibe of Miami, including the Haulover Sandbar, highlighting everything from boat parties to the most extravagant yachts in the world, comparable to those in Monaco and Dubai. Recently, we launched a third channel, ‘Boat Zone Ramps,’ featuring the funniest dock fails. We’re delivering exclusive content from the hard-to-access Haulover ramp, and we’re the only creators in the niche filming this location.
